A Doctor with 25 years of experience in running a multi-speciality ICU unit, Dr.R.Jayaprakash did his MBBS from India’s renowned national medical college, JIPMER. After an MD in Internal Medicine, he got his ACCD in Diabetes and ACLS in Critical-care Cardiology. He enrolled for a Ph.D in Lipids and Blockages. He was a Registrar in Cardiology and Cardio-diagnostic services. He has written India’s only book on Cardiac Treadmill Testing (Computerized Cardiac Stress Analysis). At Lady Wellingdon Hospital, he was the doctor for 40 Embassies, Banks, Shipping and Corporate companies. He has conducted many corporate workshops on lifestyle modification and also written a book on it. He is on the panel of doctors for the Consulate of USA at Chennai and the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India. He is also currently the doctor for India’s Largest Shipping company and the World’s Largest Shipping Fleet. He has worked at the Cardiology Department of KMC, Apollo Hospital, Harvey Heart Hospital and Lady Willingdon Hospital. He was the Medial Director of the Dean Ornish preventive cardiology program. He is now the Chief Physician of Aditya Hospital and runs its Cardio-Diabetic clinic.
